The 24/7 in the Home Programme

  • Continuous support and monitoring by Independent Social Workers and Parenting Practitioners.
  • Two-stage assessment: initial suitability/risk assessment followed by in-home observation and support.
  • Utilises SNAP (Strengths and Needs Analysis Programme) for targeted intervention.

The programme offers continuous, 24/7 support and monitoring, ensuring that families receive immediate assistance and intervention when needed. Independent Social Workers and Parenting Practitioners actively observe and guide the family and support parents in developing the skills required for safe and effective parenting. This ongoing presence within the home environment allows for a more accurate and holistic understanding of family dynamics and the child’s needs.

SNAP (Strengths and Needs Analysis Programme)

15 One-to-One Sessions Using Visual Aids for Parenting and Independence

These sessions focus on identifying both strengths and areas needing improvement to enhance parenting skills and promote independence.

Use of Visual Aids

The program integrates visual aids to make understanding concepts easier, improving engagement and comprehension. These tools are beneficial for individuals who may face traditional verbal or written communication challenges, enabling them to connect complex ideas to real-life situations and retain valuable information more effectively.

Supervision

Community-Based Supervision

Supervised Contact and Skill Development for Parents

Our program offers supervised contact sessions designed to help parents improve their caregiving abilities. These interactions, observed by skilled professionals like Independent Social Workers and Parenting Practitioners, provide valuable feedback and guidance. The sessions support parents with learning needs or limited experience, promoting safe rehabilitation and enhancing their parenting skills.

TOP (Teaching, Observe and Practice) Programme

Tailored Skills Development Based on Assessment

Our Teaching, Observation, and Practice (TOP) Programme offers personalised support to help parents build the skills to meet their children’s needs. The program delivers customised guidance that targets each family’s unique challenges by focusing on areas identified during assessments. This ensures parents receive the training necessary to care for their children effectively.
