Donna has worked in the field of Social Care for over 25 years working with children and adults with a range of needs in Schools, Day Centres, Colleges and the Community. Donna Qualified as a Social Worker through Salford University in 2005.
Donna has a keen interest in personal and professional development and completed Post Graduate Certificates in Mental Health (including AMHP) in Manchester and more recently in Autism and Aspergers in Sheffield.
Donna has lots of experience working as a Social Worker in Blackpool, Preston and Rawtenstall. Donna has experience leading a Complex Care Team with Professionals from diverse disciplines for a Charity to deliver on a variety of Transforming Care Projects for Local Authorities across the country.
In her personal life Donna enjoys spending time with her family including her 3 grandchildren who are growing fast. Donna particularly enjoys outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, cycling and stand up paddle boarding.
